The Los Suaves Negroes compilation is for everyone who likes their sex, drugs and rock n roll packaged together with some violence and kitsch in a soft lounge-environment. This tribute album consist of bossa & lounge covers of Turbonegro songs done by both signed and unsigned Swedish artists honouring the Norwegian rockers. Turbonegro is a band that started in Norway in the early nineties where black metal and the burning of churches was mainstream and the only way for these guys to be provocative was to take the dark rock and punk and mix it up with denim, glam and some homo-erotic tendensies. We honour their great works of art by taking it from the dirty alleys into the cocktail lounges and the designed apartments. This is for all of you out there who likes the work of Nouvelle Vague with their bossa versions of old punk and new wave classics, two cute girls singing “falling down the stairs, to drunk to fuck”. That’s the feeling we wantto capture and highlight.
There is no other band out there more kitsch than Turbonegro and therefore we put together this pink lounge compilation! With titles like “I Got Erection”, “Denim Demon”, “Sailor man” and “Fuck The World” we have an album filled with beautiful evil art.
